[MODEDIT]Moved from the Rem 700 thread..

Remington 700 Triger adjustment worked out real well on the wifes 308. While on the subject, can anyone point me in the direction for information on adjusting the triggers on the 600/660 rifles? Or are they pretty much the same?

Ronsgun,

Do some searches on the Rem 600 trigger... I just did a quick search and there are some issues with the triggers in the Rem 600. Does your serial number start with an "A"? If so, I understand your may be OK...

See http://www.remington.com/Safety_Modification_Program/600_660.htm

I moved this to a new thread for you! If you do find info on the Rem 600 trigger, kindly post it here! I have a Rem 541THB which is a 22LR bolt gun and it has a very similar trigger to the 700 but I don't know anything about the 600/660 series.

I am aware of the 600/660 Trigger/bolt lock issue which requires nothing more than removing a small amount of metal fron the safety lever to enable the bolt to open in the "safe" position. I was just curious about the actual adjustment process for these triggers. I will root out the information I need and will gladly post it here when I get it. Thanks again.
