Just what are case inserts, and how are they made? Do they help with reduced loads in a 308? I saw a post that said something about the use of epoxy. Thanks Glenn

Basically what you are doing is taking up some of the volume of a larger case (308 WCF/7.62x51 NATO) by putting something to use up some of the volume (expoxy - plastic filler) but leaving room for a smaller powder charge and a way to get the primer out and the flame to the primer.

Alternately, you could use lead.....if weight is not an issue.
