Hello, Whisperers (or is that 'whispering' hello). I am new to the .300 world amd am currently having SSK put together an upper for me. I will be using an AWC Mk9 as my suppressor and a Colt 6920 as my lower. I am not a reloader yet so I will be using Reed and CorBon for my test and initial sighting ammo. I will only be shooting subsonic (I have a 6.5 grendel and other things for the carckin' world.) I have no distinct questions but rather this is to introduce myself in the expectation that I will be soliciting advice from this community in the future. Thanks for a great site and in advance please forgive my neophyte questions.

A Quiet Welcome to the board, :welcome:
I'm assuming the AWC Mk9 is in 9mm or is it 45 like mine?
Once you get hooked on reloading, you'll be shooting you whisper a little more as CorBon and Reed isn't real cheap - but you might find this a good place to purchase some.

Thanks for the ammo info. Yes, my Mk9 is in 9mm. In talking to SSK they were surprised at the size and robustness of the suppressor. I think that it will do the job on the.300. Has anybody used one on a .300 Whisper barrel ?
