As I have said before with regards to this project, "One thing leads to another"...

1) Had custom AR-15 upper built in 300 Fireball
2) Added sound suppressor
3) Started reloading
4) Want to buy drop-in auto sear for full auto

I got sticker shock when I started to research number 4 above. Any suggestions? Please send me a PM if you have a DIAS for sale. I would also consider a registered lower receiver.

1. Write your congress man.
2. Pray to the god of your choise.
3. Become a C3 dealer

I have done, #1, and #2. It didn't help. I thought about doing #3, but it doesn't work with the rest of my life.

I was told that a person about 35 miles from me got a C3 license, but he is not a C3 dealer. Is there such a thing as a C3 license? If so, what is the scoop on getting the license?

two levels of Title 2 licence for NFA weapons
1) Dealer
2) Manufacturer

unless someone is ignorant and thinks the form4 tax form to own is a Licence

Could also be Curio and Relic licencee... call him up and talk to him.

I sent an email to ATF requesting the proceedure to go through to get a list of registered owners. They responded back that this was considered tax information and therefore not available to the public.

I did not expect this to work, but wondered what their response would be.

If you like playing detective you might check with the city/county and see if they will let you look at business licenses - (going to depend upon city/county regulations)

Keep an eye on this board and you will eventually find what you are looking for. There are dealers in every state that allow full auto firearms. A simple Google search should turn one up, or if you let me know where you are located I can find one for you to do the transfer.
