Hello everyone.

I am interested in finding both subsonic and supersonic data on the cartridges related to the .300 Whisper. I cannot find any balistics data on these on the SKS site.

Actually I am interested in all cartridges that can work in 5.56 magazines that do not require major alteration to the magazine or the bolt face.

Thanks
Jon

Here's a short list on what can be run through a standard magazine and no alteration or bolt swap needed....basicly just a barrel swap:
(some mag feed lips might need to be slightly bent)
17 Remington
20 Tactical
204 Ruger
222 Remington
222 Remington Mag...some bullets
6x45
6x47
Whisper series
221 Fireball
6mm TCU
6.5mm TCU
7mm TCU
It really involves just about any cartridge with a maximum length of 2.260" and a shell case and rim diameter measuring 0.3780".

As far as SSK Industries reloading data..if you contact them they wil be happy to help you out.

I recall JD telling me he also has a .338 Whisper #2, which is based off the .221 FB case. He did say it is a specialized chambering? I was going to order it in a contender carbine, but it would be strictly a subsonic round. He said the 300 Whisper is the best all around Whisper cartridge, so that is what I got, although the one .338 Whisper(#1 off the BR case) was a fun barrel. But just chronoed my 10" this past week, and I'm happy with the 125 BT @ 2184 fps, and the 150 BT @ 2020 fps. I know I can get slightly more with the 125 BT load, but they all shot 1MOA or less, and hesitant with messing up a good thing.
