I just received one of the Taiwan-made copies this week as part of a lot containing a bunch of other knives. I've seen the same claims on Ebay about the quality being comparable, and after handling one I can say it is NOT TRUE. The blade is significantly thinner, the machining is sloppy, and despite being labeled "STAINLESS", it appears to be painted silver. The knife is NOT a good copy from a quality standpoint, and only passes for a Buckmaster cosmetically from a distance. On the other hand, I was a little surprised by the sheath. The nylon webbing is not as heavy as a genuine Buck sheath, but the actual body of the sheath is pretty decent. I'm not even sure what to do with this knife, I don't like selling junk on Ebay. Maybe I'll hang it from my mailbox as an ornament or something. Have a good one.
