Deleting Theads and Photos

How do I delete a thread that I have started and, also, how do I delete any photos that I have uploaded. I've read everything I can find and nothing on this site explains anything at all when it comes to actually explaining in plain english how I go about deleting threads and photos. :confused:

Any help would be appreciated.
