The following knife is owned by Chris Johnson (http://www.m9bayonet.com/forums/profile.php?mode=viewprofile&u=7) of the M9 Bayonet forums and he has given me permission to use his images and descriptions on the site. The description:
Now up for bidding is an new to excellent condition BUCK Made, 1986 vintage, Black, BuckMaster knife. The blade is marked BUCK 184< U.S.A. PAT. PEND., the left side blade tip shows light scabbard wear, with factory edge that shows no use. There is a very small area on the grip that is missing black finish and looks to be a factory flaw, other than that the overall knife finish is 99%. Both black finish grappling spikes are present, the grip compartment is empty. The scabbard like the knife looks uncarried, the front snap has a small scratch on it, the sharpening stone is unused. There are no pouches with this knife, but does have it’s original, 85 to 90% condition, properly marked box and paperwork .
